Veterinarians have
a term for health conditions and diseases that develop when an animal is
improperly fed for a long period of time. It's called being off
feed. This can happen to humans too. In fact, most people
in modern countries no longer prepare food much less eat properly.
The "obesity epidemic" is a myth that distracts people from the fact that
most of them are actually malnourished. When you aren't getting what
you need, you overeat to try to make up for what you're not getting.
The trouble is, most in this situation don't know what it is that they're
missing because they're either under informed or misinformed about what
they need. To add insult to injury, ethnic diversity is almost completely
ignored in favor of a "one size fits all" idea of what a healthy diet is.
On this site you'll learn how to properly prepare food for optimal nutrition,
what your personal food priorities should be, and how to lose weight (if
you need to) without counting calories.
